Regarding the Teacher Demo:
1. Created a file for students to open on their iPads to record their observations, and a box of identically shaped samples of metals (stored in chemistry storage).
2. Demos will involve Appearance (shiny or dull), Density (use samples and scale), Reactivity in Water (samples, plus alkali metal samples in locked chemistry storage), Flame Test (samples in Alcohol cabinet), State (all solid), and atomic number/# of protons.
3. Use outdoor example of carbon production (50mL Sulfuric Acid added to 50mL sugar)
